Symbolism: on a chief Argent, three lozenges of the first were inspired from downhill skiing where they (the diamond shaped charges) refer to the most challenging runs requiring the most skill, daring and a bit of a crazy streak, which is also applied to the training of l`arte dell`armizare. on the dexter a compass Or refers to Igal's engineering background as well as Fiore dei Liberi's reference to measure, where it is illustrated as being held in the paw of a lynx or wild cat in his treatise. on the sinister, a staff of aesculapius Sable refers to the symbol of medicine for his wife, Veronica who works in the field.
